Chennai
Previously known as Madras, Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu. The main entrance to South India and South Indian culture, Chennai boasts of a very thriving local culture and a number of historical and artistic sightseeing spots. It claims of having the second longest beach front in the world.

For the domestic terminal Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir, IndiGo have frequent flights connecting Chennai with different other cities in India.

In Chennai you get a host of transport modes for you to enter the city and move within it. Starting from local trains to buses to private cab services to pre-paid taxis, to auto rickshaw one can avail any mode to see the city.

If in Chennai you do not taste their famous South Indian cuisine cooked in coconut oil and tempered with Tamarind then you do not get the full taste of Chennai. Also with the famous South Indian Saris and special dance and music form Chennai promises to its tourists to be a very entertaining place to be at.
